This project in Sarasota, FL involved a large circular paver driveway that was overdue for maintenance, it had been ten years since the last seal. We began with a deep cleaning to remove embedded dirt and organic buildup. At the same time we removed weeds growing between joints, making sure the surface was free of material that would prevent the sand and sealer from doing their job. After cleaning, we wet sanded the joints to compact the sand tightly between the pavers. Wet sanding helps settle the joint sand so it locks in place and provides a solid base before sealing. Once the joints were properly compacted, we allowed the area to dry and performed a careful sweep the next day to remove any loose sand or surface residue.

With the surface prepped and the joints compacted, we applied two heavy coats of SealThane Wet Look.
