This project was a villa paver restoration performed by BIC Cleaning And Coatings in Englewood, FL. The work focused on the front driveway and the rear lanai, where the goal was to restore the original look of the pavers and protect them for continued use. We completed the job by following a clear sequence of cleaning, joint stabilization, and sealing.

First, we thoroughly cleaned both the front driveway and the rear lanai pavers. Cleaning removes dirt, organic growth, and surface deposits that hide the colors and textures of the pavers. With the surface clean, the pavers were ready for the next step, joint filling and compaction.

For joint stabilization we applied sand between the paver joints and used water to hydro compact it tightly. This hydro compacting process forces the sand down into the joints so it locks in place and supports the pavers. Proper joint material and compaction reduce shifting and help maintain a uniform surface over time. We paid close attention to getting the joints tightly compacted across both the driveway and lanai areas.

After the joints were compacted, we sealed the pavers using Sealthane Wet Look. The wet look sealer enhances the natural color of the pavers and provides a protective layer that helps with everyday wear. We applied the flood coat with a high volume sprayer to saturate the sand and fill the capillaries. Applying the sealer in controlled sections lets us manage drying conditions and avoid overlap marks, which helps create a consistent finish across the whole surface.

Doing the cleaning, hydro compaction of the sand, and the Sealthane Wet Look seal produced a noticeable restoration of the pavers' appearance. The villa’s driveway and lanai regained their color and texture, and the sealed surfaces are better protected against routine traffic and exposure.
